Using Online Account Access and Online Trading
We are pleased to offer our shareholders the ease and convenience of online trading. Guggenheim Investments shareholders can make exchanges among our various fund offerings in a secure online environment.

For questions regarding the Guggenheim Investments web site or online account access, please contact the web help desk at 800.487.9339.

Because functional and other issues may arise in home computing configurations and in connectivity across the world wide web, Guggenheim Investments recommends that shareholders place orders as early as possible. Orders will not be processed if Guggenheim Investments does not receive them BEFORE fund cutoff time.

When trading among funds with different cutoffs, Guggenheim Investments recommends that shareholders pay close attention to the funds in the trading set that have the earliest cutoff.

After Guggenheim Investments receives a trade order, it issues an online confirmation number. Shareholders should print the confirmation screen for record-keeping purposes. If an expected confirmation is not received, call Client Services immediately.

Please read the following information carefully before initiating account transactions through the Guggenheim Investments web site.

Trading an Individual Account
Exchanges in individual accounts may be entered in dollar, shares or percentages.

An exchange in dollars involves selling a specific dollar amount from one fund and purchasing shares of one or more other funds, totaling the same dollar amount. When placing an exchange in dollars, the amount exchanging out of a fund must equal the total amount exchanging into either one or multiple funds.

An exchange in shares involves selling a specific share amount of one fund to another fund or funds. For the "to" side of the transaction, the shares can be allocated in percentages to allow a move of all shares to one specific fund or a specific percentage to multiple funds.

An exchange in percentage amounts involves selling a specific percentage amount from one fund and then allocating that percentage amount as purchases into one or more funds. The percentage total exchanged out and the percentage total exchanged in must be equal.

For example, if an exchange-out of one fund is made for 60% of the value of the “from” fund, then the exchanges in to one or more “to” funds must total 60%. The exchange-in allocation can be, for example: (a) one fund – 60%; (b) two funds – 40%, 20%; (c) six funds – 5%, 5%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%; (d) any other valid combination. For a detailed step-by-step guide to using online account access, log in to your account access and select the help link at the top of the page.

Trading a Group Account
Exchanges in group accounts may only be entered in percentage amounts. To place trades in percent amounts, you must indicate the percentage of proceeds you wish to have exchanged out of a given fund. You must then indicate how that percentage will be allocated to the fund or funds into which you wish to exchange. Remember, the percentage total exchanged out and the percentage total exchanged in must be equal.

For example, if you are trading 60% out of a Fund, the percentage trading into one or multiple funds must equal 60%. For a detailed step-by-step guide to using online account access, login to your account and select the help link at the top of the page.

15-minute Session & Logging Out
After successful login, 15 consecutive minutes of idleness in which no additional account access actions are taken will result in an automatic system logout. The user can re-access the account by initiating a new login session.

Secure Transactions
While providing easy access to your account information, www.guggenheiminvestments.com is also committed to providing a secure and private web site environment. The site has been designed with security measures to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of, and unauthorized access to, information that is directly under Guggenheim Investments’ control. Although Guggenheim Investments has implemented the security measures described below and believes that it has provided a secure web site environment, Guggenheim Investments cannot guarantee the security or privacy of account information and will not be liable for the use of this web site for online account access or other purposes.

Secure and Non-Secure Items Warning on Browser
This usually happens when you link to graphics or other resources on web sites, using connections other than Secure Socket Layer (SSL). Because the link to these various elements is most likely using http:// instead of https://(secure http://) your browser informs you that these elements are not encrypted. Many browsers are configured to show a warning when viewing secure and non-secure elements. Should you notice this message during your use of the Guggenheim Investments website, it does not mean that the information presented is not secure. All personal information, passwords, and other sensitive data are still being encrypted.

VeriSign Secure Server ID
The account access website employs secure socket layer (SSL) protocols, certified by the world’s leading certificate authority: Verisign. This certification guarantees that sessions established between user browsers and account access communicate using authentication and encryption techniques that ensure high confidentiality, security, and trust in communication between sender and receiver. Browsers will automatically confirm the certificate to ensure that browser sessions are established with Guggenheim Investments and not with an unauthorized party. Secure transmission ensures that exchanged information cannot be intercepted and viewed by an unauthorized party. If you would like to learn more about web security, you can find information on theVerisign web site

What is encryption and how does it work?
Encryption helps protect your private information so that a third party cannot read it. Encryption is the scrambling of information for transmission back and forth between two points using a mathematical formula. Your web browser and Guggenheim Investments’ computers understand these formulas and can use them to encode and decode communication between each other. This protects and secures your account and trade information as it travels across the Internet.

The effectiveness, or level of security, for encryption is measured in terms of the length of the key used to encode and decode your data. The longer the key, the longer it would take for someone without the correct decoder key and with very sophisticated computer equipment to break the code. The length of the key is measured in bits.

40-bit browser vs. 128-bit browser encryption
Most modern browsers support 128-bit encryption. Some legacy browsers still employ 40-bit encryption schemes. Although 40-bit encryption is still secure, 128-bit encryption offers the highest degree of security currently available today. Account access supports communications with browsers using either encryption grade; however, Guggenheim Investments strongly recommends the use of browsers with 128-bit encryption capability.
